Niteo Design (pronounced Nih-tay-oh) is a web consultation firm born from passion and driven by purpose. Built from the ground up by Blake Petersen and Ashley Bridges, Niteo, which takes its name from the Latin meaning to flourish and thrive, has done just that since its inception in 2006. After successfully producing several static, hand-coded websites for local clientele in the Santa Barbara, California region, Blake and Ashley, who met while attending UCSB, decided to form a new media production team and produce web content full time. Niteo has blossomed ever since, thanks to its roster of robust, dynamically-driven websites, and a range of additional web consultation services including search engine optimization, web marketing, graphic design and photography.

 Blake Petersen
Web Developer
Blake Petersen is a master web designer who prides himself not only in the aesthetic aspects of his work, but also the functionality. A love for technology drove Blake very early on to pursue his passions and by age 12 he was already building computers from scratch and constructing his own websites. Obsessed with challenges and born with a stubborn refusal to take no for an answer, Blake is a highly self-driven problem-solver. His graphic eye is entirely unique, and his websites have a look and feel that can’t be found anywhere else in cyberspace. Specializing in user interface design, Blake is as ardent a web user as he is a designer, and he knows what does and does not make a successful website. Blake holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with an emphasis in Ethics and Public Policy from UCSB.

 Ashley Bridges
Web Marketing/Search Engine Optimization Consultant, Project Manager
Ashley Bridges is a vibrant sales and marketing expert with an ever-vigilant and updated understanding of the current trends of web production and search engine optimization. Ashley has worked for the past three years in public relations and marketing for a Southern California-based clothing manufacturer and has also taken on several independent photography assignments and web production management projects. Extremely detail-oriented and resourceful, Ashley is a world traveler with connections up and down the West Coast and serves as Niteo’s lead marketing consultant and website administrator. She holds a double Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and History of Art and Architecture from UCSB.
